Anastasia was born almost dead, because it had the umbilical cord wrapped around the neck. The resuscitation did not take place immediately, then for 20 minutes the doctors fought to keep it alive. Lack of oxygen has severely affected the brain, especially those centers that coordinate the movement.

Shortly thereafter, the doctors told parents to expect the worst, because the chances of survival were minimal. The little baby girl did not give up and struggled to be with the people who gave her life. In the first 3 days, she made seizures that affected his brain even harder, being resuscitated for a month and five days. After discharge, the child was not crying, not watching, not sucking, and by the age of 7 months he was fed through the probe.

Although she had accomplished 2 years, Anastasia could not sit, she could not say what it was hurting her or when she was hungry, she did not go and did not know how to play the toys. Parents fought a lot to save her, and finally they received a positive response from Istanbul, where many children with similar problems have been cured. The treatment consists of stem cell transplantation, and the Turkish doctors recommended 4 transfusion sessions, one month apart, interspersed with kinetotherapy sessions to activate the new cells.

Anastasia has already performed the 4 stem cell transfusions and in just a few months the results were simply INCREDIBLE!!! From the little girl who could not stand at all, now she keeps her head, she is sitting without any help, she is playing and she recently said … „Mother!”, To the joy of the family and the people who have joined him all the time this path to healing. The road has not yet ended, with doctors saying there is still a better place, and exhausting physiotherapy sessions will help it become more and more independent and strong!

The Association „Save a Heart” and Caritate.md organized the fundraising campaign for the treatment of Anastasia Soimu.
